Does Goodnotes process data from your notes for AI handwriting?

No. Handwriting is often very personal and could be uniquely identifiable. Therefore, Goodnotes 6 is built to protect users’ privacy. AI handwriting features like Spell Check and Word Complete that are based on our proprietary ML model are run entirely on device. In other words, the data is not sent anywhere, and no one - including Goodnotes - can access it.

Is Goodnotes compatible with third-party styluses like Logitech Crayon?

On Apple devices, the following styluses are supported:

  • Apple Pencil 1st generation
  • Apple Pencil 2nd generation
  • Logitech Crayon
  • All non-Bluetooth capacitive styluses
